Custom Belts
There’s a possibility to order custom belts form elements you have selected. Below you can find some useful information what is worth keeping in mind while choosing elements for a custom belt.
What to take into account while choosing the elements?

o Every item In the catalogue Has it’s own measuremtns. You can view them by clicking the link in „To view items measurents click here”

o The important thing is to make sure that the opening in the buckle is bigger than the size of the endings or the mounts you have selected.

Ideally the chosen elements should have similar dating.

If you need a historically correct belt please make sure that you don’t choose a 15th century ending to a 13th century buckles.

If you re-enact several medieval periods you can look for elements that have broad date ranges. Quite a few of the offered pieces can be easily used in 13th century and 15th century re-enactment.
Width of the belt
The width of the Belt is adjusted to the measurements of the chosen elements. In the catalogue we have elements that will fit belts varying from 1 to 3,5 cm in width.
The Leather for the belts
To make our belts we only use leather that was tanned using natural vegetable ingredients in natural colors without any varnish.
You can choose the length of the belt from 0 cm to 180 – although the standard length for a belt is 150 cm.
The belts are available In two colors:

Light brown/beige
-
Dark brown
Additional elements and decorations
There are three options to mount the buckle to the belt:

Sewn-in with thick linen thread.

Riveted directly to the belt ( SPB-01, SPB-02, SP04, SPB-04)

Rivted with decorative plate.
You can add a purse hanger to your belt. It is a element with a Little hook that you can use to hang your purse, key or knife. You can see it in the Accessories category.
You also have an option to decorate your belt with stamped expression on the leather. We have several stamp designs available.

Ok very nice, but how much does it all cost?
Well the price of each belt is estimated individually. It is the sum of all costs of used elements plus costs of mounting, leather and additional decoration.
- Leather cost: from 8,5-15 EUR
- Decorative plate: from 6,5 EUR
- Sewed-in buckle: 1,5 EUR
- Engraved stamps: from 8 EUR per belt
- Mounting an ending : 1,5 - 3 EUR
- Mounting a buckle with rivets: 1,5 EUR
- Mounting a buckle with rivets and decorative plate: 2,5 EUR
- Mounting hangers and mounts: depends on the number of elements
